Breaking out of the Folk label, as with 'Court and Spark', Joni progressively moved into a more Jazz vibe. Utilizing some of the best Jazz session musicians, she applied her own unique palate, once again. Rich textures and layers of creativeness. There is a self-assurance to her voice, powerful and radiant.

Recommended to listen to after 'Blue', and 'Court and Spark'.
