The Soundtrack for one of the finest documentary concert films ever produced. This was a tribute to the legendary group 'The Band' and was their last concert appearance. Martin Scorcese filmed this event and it has reached cult status over the last 45 years. Now it was more that 'The Band', special guests included Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Diamond, Emmylou Harris, Dr. John, Joni Mitchell, Muddy Waters, Neil Young, et al...

The Band were one of the most important bands of the late 60's/70's and worked closely with Dylan over many years. The concert is amazing and this new reissue captures the energy and enthusiasm of this important event. The music was a snapshot of a time, and one a world that was rapidly changing.

Wonderful pressing and super nice 3xLP set. Sounds superb and a real slice of this great event. Light mark one side not audible, Quiet and great detailing.
